![]() Add the two storage module "ceiling" lockers to the other side of the fabricator, above the floor locker, so it doesnt have so much wasted space. Let me feel like I am loading up my sea truck for an epic adventure exploring the ocean floor, instead of agonizing if I need to bring more of A or B because I have super limited space. Increase the storage size of all the lockers in the storage module. Make it so I can tow all four modules without any real decrease in appreciable speed, once fully upgraded. ![]() This would let me progress in the game, without having my souped up seatruck feel like a liability. Give me a blueprint for a "Seatruck Horsepower Upgrade MK2" and MK3. Make the horsepower upgrade, upgrade-able. I want to use the tool and feel good about it, not look for ways to circumvent it. But its the only tool I have, so I have to use it. The seatruck doesnt feel like an empowering tool. But Im already super limited in storage already, which adds insult to injury. Both of which are decent enough, but they drain my power cells FAST, which means I need to carry extra power cells. To make matters worse, the only recourse I have to is burn the afterburners all the time, and use the perimeter defense ability. Rather, it feels like the sea truck is a underwater pinata for the carnivors. I want to feel like I have all the tools required to explore every inch of the map. I got lucky and found the horsepower upgrade though, but it still feels really slow instead of terribly slow.Īt this point, I actively feel like Im being punished for progression. Like I actually dont want to take it anywhere because it takes forever to get anywhere, slow. Maybe they are super useful and I just cant see it yet. I now have a sea truck towing all these modules because I want to use them in game, and maybe see if I am just misjudging them too quickly. The Prawn module is the only module I feel like that actually delivers on its promise. Again, Im thinking ill just keep the mats for a single bed in the storage module. Again, feels great to have a bed, but it feels bad because its mostly dead weight, so much unused space. I craft the sleeper module, which has a bed. This module only works if you drive right next to the fish in the first place. Not only that, but I have to do most of the work anyway. I also, clearly remember saying out loud, "really? is this it?", as I walked into it for the first time. I remember watching it plop into the water thinking that it looks sweet. Maybe these modules will be sweet! I race back to my main base and craft the Aquarium. My sea truck feels noticibly slower now, but its not awful so I press on.Įventually I find the Aquarium, Sleeper, and Prawn modules. I stomach my doubts about both modules and still use them. Is this really worth it? At this point, Im thinking Id rather just put the materials required for a I Compartment, Hatch, Fabricator, and Solar panel into a storage module locker and just build a base when I need to fab something, and have a second storage module. ![]() However, this module, also feels bad because theres so much unused space. I hastily attach it to the sea truck and find that I am able to use a mobile fabricator which I am pleased. I hunt for more materials and I am able to craft the fabrication module. Well, I guess its better than nothing?ĭisappointed with the Storage Module, I still have my hopes up for the fabrication module. Now Im agonizing over what to put in the lockers, as I have so little space. The storage module feels like a "take it or leave it" option. The Cyclops felt like a canvas for me to customize to my storage needs. Not only that, but in the Cyclops, I could build like literally 40 wall lockers if I wanted for all kinds of additional storage. With my Cyclops, I had six built-in lockers as standard, that were the same size as the two bigger lockers in the storage modules. I hurried back to my base to craft my shiny new modules, delighted to see how much more effective I would be as an explorer.Īfter hunting for more materials (because of course I dont have what I need on hand), I was able to craft the storage module! Excited, I docked it to my sea truck, and to my surprise, it doesnt actually hold that much. I began exploring the game, like you do, and I eventually found the storage and fabricator modules. I was super happy to have a source of oxygen I could retreat to. Crafting the initial sea truck was sweet.
